The neuroscience of change

by Human Capital02 Jul 2012

If there is one thing all HR professionals will face in their career, it is change. While change can be constructive, allowing organisations to learn, progress and grow, many leaders encounter resistance and cynicism when trying to implement it.

And as HR professionals have a key role in driving organisational transformation, an understanding of the way we think and act when faced with change is imperative to overcoming opposition and enabling a smooth transition.

At the upcoming HR Summit Melbourne, Sylvia Vorhauser-Smith of PageUp People will present a workshop on ‘The neuroscience of change’. Attendees will learn to recognise the implications of change for leadership and how to optimise workplace talent.

The HR Summit Melbourne will be held on 19-20 July at The Langham. Click here for more information and to register.
