Personal leadership skills top priority for HRDs: Asia-Pacific HR Report

HR professionals might be in the business of focusing on the development and training of other staff in their organisation, but in today’s business environment, they are increasingly focused on their own skills, too.

HR professionals might be in the business of focusing on the development and training of other staff in their organisation, but in today’s business environment, they are increasingly focused on their own skills too.
 
Human Resources Director’s 2015 Asia-Pacific HR Report, out now, asked over 3,000 HR professionals in the APAC region about their key areas of focus over the next year. Survey results found that across the board, developing personal leadership and management skills came in at the top of the priority list. HR Directors in Australia also prioritised staff learning and development, while their counterparts in Asia are focusing on recruitment.
 
With over 3,100 respondents from 14 countries taking part, the Asia-Pacific HR Report provides significant insight into the challenges and strategic initiatives HR is focusing on in an ever-evolving business landscape.
