People and technology: What role should HR play?

Join a panel of HR leaders as they explore the changing role of HR in an increasingly digital world

Digital technology is disrupting business models and radically changing the way we work. With automation increasingly disrupting the workforce, what will this mean for the future role of HR departments?

This is one of the questions on the agenda at the 2017 National HR Summit where a panel of HR leaders including QBE Insurance CHRO Sally Kincaid; Disney’s Head of HR Toby List; Sarah Sammut, Head of HR at Fitness First; and HR Director of the International Convention Centre Sydney Mathew Paine will share their insights.

Panellists will discuss questions such as: How can HR help employees shift to a ‘digital mindset’? How will HR itself revolutionise its own systems and service delivery? What does the ‘fourth industrial revolution’ really mean for the HR profession?

The National HR Summit will be held on 29-30 March at Luna Park Sydney. Marking its 15th year in 2017, the event brings together a line-up of keynote speakers, thought leaders and award-winning HR directors and business leaders to explore the challenges facing the HR profession and share insight into ‘better practice’ in today’s workplace.
