Sometimes, the kindest thing to do is to tell employees the harsh truth – even if they don’t want to hear it
There appears to be similarities between this story and the now 'infamous' ham sandwich that went viral and had a negative impact on a number of employees on a National and International basis. Whilst some 'acts', 'events' or 'behaviours' may appear to be frivolous time wasters, when formal complaints are made, there could be negative and adverse findings as occurred with the 'ham sandwich'.
