Which HR director, academic, or business leader has had the biggest impact on the HR profession?

HR Leader magazine would like to ask you, our readers, who you believe is the most influential practitioner or thinker in the field of human resources in order to determine our initial shortlist.

Consider the following points when making your choice…

Visibility: How often do you see or hear about the individual's name and ideas?

Originality: How distinctive are the ideas and initiatives and how do they stand out in the field?

Personal influence: How have they influenced others through their business knowledge and have they gained followers through their ideas and/or practices?

Practical relevance (for thinkers): How practical are this person’s ideas in addressing key issues currently facing organisations?

Commercial impact (for practitioners) Has this person's practice affected and sustained real change in their organisation or organisations?
