Traditionally HR has been measured on lag indicators but innovative organisations are calling for a paradigm shift. Richard Todd, regional director of HR for Hilton Australasia, says HR needs to take more notice of lead indicators as they drive value to the business and truly assist to measure ROI on HR initiatives. By shifting to lead indicators, Hilton has improved staff retention and employee engagement.
