CEOs share how HR impacts business strategy

by 30 Apr 2012

While HR is responsible for driving the people management strategy in an organisation, they need the support of senior management for their initiatives to be effective and lasting.

At the upcoming HR Summit events in Perth and Melbourne, HR professionals will have the opportunity to see things from the CEO’s perspective as two respected HR champions provide valuable insight into how HR can build credibility and gain support from the C-suite.

At HR Summit Perth on 13-14 June, Australian HR Champion 2011 Menno Henneveld, managing director of Main Roads WA, will discuss the unique business partnership between CEO and HR Director. Presenting a joint session with executive director of organisational development John Taya, Henneveld will discuss how they work together to achieve strategic business objectives.

Attendees at HR Summit Melbourne on 19-20 July will hear from Karin Adcock, president of jewelry company Pandora Australia, who will focus on why HR needs a thorough understanding of the business and the language of ROI to be a trusted advisor and partner to the business. Adcock was a finalist in the HR Champion category of the 2011 Australian HR Awards.

The HR Summit is celebrating ten years as the leading people management event in Australia. For more information about these upcoming events visit Early bird rates available for Perth and Melbourne registrations for a limited time.
