Australia's recruiters - who's the best?

by 18 Nov 2011

The recruitment industry has recognised its best and brightest at the SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs) in Sydney.

Now in its ninth year, the SARAs acknowledge the outstanding performance of recruitment agencies across Australia. These prestigious awards also give jobseekers the chance to vote for the agency they deem most successful in candidate placement and delivering the best client service.

A record number of jobseeker votes were received this year.

The winning agencies in each category are:

Calloways Executive Selection Executive Recruiter
Kelly Services Large Specialist Recruiter
Marks Sattin Medium Specialist Recruiter
RecruitR Small Specialist Recruiter
Adecco Group Large Generalist Recruiter
Sinclair Consulting Medium Generalist Recruiter
Metier Recruitment Small Generalist Recruiter
Talent International Large IT Recruiter
M&T Resources Medium IT Recruiter
LikeIT Recruitment Small IT Recruiter

This year, three agencies will join Davidson Recruitment, Majer Recruitment, Six Degrees Executive and Itcom for the prestigious SARA Legends - an accolade for recruiters that achieve consistent excellence in their respective categories for three years in a row. New inductees to this exclusive group are Kelly Services, Metier Recruitment and RecruitR.

SEEK managing director Joe Powell said it was important to recognise excellence in Australia's
recruitment industry.

"The SARAs provide us with the opportunity to reward the hard work of recruitment agencies throughout 2011 and recognise the critical role they play in supporting jobseekers through what can often be a challenging process.

"The winning agencies have been recognised for their outstanding levels of service to SEEK's jobseekers. We congratulate all of winners and runners up of the 2011 SARAs," Powell added.
