Bone, with Silian Rail type? Eggshell, with Romalian type? Subtle off-white colouring with a watermark? The famous scene of business card envy in the film American Psycho may be closer to the truth than you’d think.

The last 3 business cards I had been given had print that was so hard to read it was almost unreadable. It was either really small or had a colour over it. In all 3 cases I had to ask the people what was their best contact number. All three said it was on the card but when I pointed out how hard it was to read they all agreed. If I could offer any advice it would be that the name and best contact number should be in larger print than anything else on the card and it should be easily readable.
