Could it happen here? A New Zealand prostitute was awarded $25,000 in damages after being sexually harassed by her brothel-owner boss

    Sad that this is seen as such an extraordinary finding. She is an employee with a manager just like everyone else and is entitled to exactly the same protections.

    I totally agree with you Amanda. The nature of the work should have no impact on how they are treated by fellow employees/employers

    Great result and a punch on the nose for her manager. And no matter that the nature of her work "should" or "should not" have an impact upon how she is treated, it did; and probably happens every day. That such a young woman has the courage of her convictions to make a stand most certainly should be applauded.
