When it comes to job hunting, there are still major differences between what matters to men and what’s important to women – do you know what your potential candidates are looking for?

That might be the case with the majority of women interviewed for the survey, however as the primary earner in my family, what men favour are my preference. It really annoys me that I have to constantly stress to management yes I expect the same salary and career progressing opportunities as my male peers as I am doing exactly the same job/tasks/role as them! Really what female and male favour depends on the individual.

Women favour "Strong workplace culture" That says nothing - exactly what sort of culture - democratic, supportive, friendly, business-like, unstructured etc. The word "culture" can mean anything, needs to be defined and described.
