    Do these so called experts ever talk to each other.
    If you look back on previous articles on this topic you will find one on "myths", one of which that Gen Y are regarded as not being loyal but the reason for this was that they truly value work/life balance and keep moving around until they find the job that is a "fit" for them. It had nothing to do with their parents situation. The mind boggles.

    Yes...I think finding the best "fit" may be the real reason behind the 'disloyal' tag but who can blame them? Many of the Gen Y and the Z's who are also in the workforce now, are looking at workplace environments with disdain. But then again, so are many Xers & Boomers. Maybe the real reason is because so many organisations have focused on profit above all else, provide no meaning for employees, poorly demonstrate espoused values, and allow poor leadership to continue unabated. It's no wonder good people leave - some never go back.
