Karin Sanders is Professor Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the UNSW Australia Business School, Sydney, Australia and is Director of the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE; UNSW). Karin is published in journals such as Academay of Management Learning & Education, Organization Studies, Human Resource Management, Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Group & Organization Management, International Journal of HRM, and Human Resource Management Journal.

Karin Sanders' research focuses on the process approach of HRM, in particular the impact of employees' perceptions and attributions of HRM on their attitudes and behaviours, such as their informal learning activities. Together with Helen Shipton and Jorge Gomes, Karin was the guest editor for a special issue of Human Resource Management, entitled "Is the HRM process important" (2014). Together with Julie Cogin and Hugh Bainbridge she edited a text book on "Research Methods in Human Resource Management Research" (Routledge; Taylor & Francis, 2014).

Together with Tim Bednall she won the best paper award for the paper entitled "The influence of LMX and LGO in Facilitating Knowledge Sharing and Innovation" at the First International HR Conference in Beijing in 2014. Also together with Tim Bednall she received a best paper notification for the paper entitled "Formal training stimulates follow-up participation in informal learning: A three-wave study" at 2014 Academy of Management Annual Meeting, in Philadelphia. She is associate editor of Evidence Based HRM.
