“One of the things we are really aware of at Xero is making sure everyone is aligned to our purpose and our values.

“I’m very lucky to have an amazing HR manager who has done a lot of hard work to keep our business heading in the right direction.

“We have had a fantastic evening and had a lot of fun - I’m really pleased to win this award. “

Meanwhile the Davidson Australian HR Director of the Year winner went to Assistant Commissioner Carlene York of the New South Wales Police Force.

Over the last three years , York has actively led a cultural change program to drive and implement enhanced focus on prevention and early intervention.

The program sought to drive culturally foundational changes that have significantly changed the focus from reactive to proactive employee management and support.

HRD would like to thank all the HR professionals for attending the night, and would also like to thank event partner Ironfish and all award sponsors for their support.
